A Gene's Telecom installer will arrive at your location and perform a series of tests to assure the service will work in your area.
Natural and man made obstructions as well as distance may effect signal strength and quality of service and we want to be certain the service will be optimal in your location. If your location qualifies, an external subscriber module will be mounted to the exterior of your home (this is both the modem and antenna). The Subscriber Module with then be configured and aligned for optimal quality of service. A cable will be run from the Subscriber Module into your home. The connection is then tested. Once your High Speed Internet Service has been verified and tested you may then connected the service direct to your pc, a hub, or router. * Once in your home, a wired router or connection is most reliable. |
